Well, Helene is doing a number on my pool. Constant 30-50 mile an hour winds are dumping leaves in the pool faster than the bots can get them. I have emptied both my Betta’s 3 times each today. Both bottom robots run for about 40 minutes before they are full. I feel like I am not making a dent.

I give up Helene, you win!!!!!


Also and more importantly holding a good thought for @kimkats. She is not going to have a good night. Stay safe and wishing for no damage.

We are as set as we can be. Just waiting for it to hit us. It is 7:49 pm and the news in only doing the hurricane. The pressure is dropping and the winds are picking up. It is at a CAT 4 now We have a generator and gas grill so are fine without power for a bit. We just have to get through the direct hit.

It is Sunday, 9/29/24 at 10:00 am and we just got our power back. We are very thankful for our ginny and transfer switch! Our property and area did okay. Many trees down but not real damage to anything. Lots of picking up and such. Areas on the coast got hit and hard. Thanks for caring!
