As another pool season begins my social media is filling up with pool gadget advertisements. It used to be the Phin (sp?) and now it’s the WaterGuru. I searched this forum but most discussions on this device are 2 or more years old. I’m hoping someone has more recent experience and can advise if this product actually works or if it has improved. I see they now offer a C5 cassette which now tests FC, pH, TA, CH, CYA and temp. Essentially everything I test with my Taylor kit except salt.
It seems they sell the C5 cassette in a bundle with two C2 cassettes so I’m unclear if they expect you to test the full set of parameters only a portion of your swim season or what.

Anyone have thoughts on this device? Worth it?

if it has improved
The industry thought it worked to their needs and was no further off than the in store digital testers.

IMO the only thing they would 'improve' is their profit margin with new cartridges or a subscription or such.

UPDATE: I took the plunge and purchased the Sense2 and installed it last week and so far it’s working nicely! I got nervous as I read the install instructions realizing it doesn’t connect well with dual band WiFi and especially not with mesh networks like Orbi and of course that’s exactly what I have. So I dug out an old router to add on and use just for this but I tried without it first and I was pleasantly surprised that it worked perfectly!

So I’ve only gotten a few test results so far but if it continues to work as it is now, I can see it’s going to make my life so much easier.

If only the test results could automatically import into the Pool Math app that would be great.
