This is the best thing since my SWG and pool cleaning robot. I wish I get get the data to go to the pool math app. The Waterguru doesn't real tell you what to do to remedy situations. If there was a way to send date from WG to Pool Math that would be amazing. It would also create really cool data collection since it tests every day.

It is a good idea, and has been bandied around a couple times.

There is not much on the availability of the Guru API, and not very many member that use the GURU.

Here's a fun video review, confirming what I suspected: HERE on Youtube I think it's always a valiant effort to try to simplify & automate, to be applauded - just that many automation gadgets wind up being more work and at significant cost.

I haven't seen many that were accurate. Most are thrilled if theirs is at least consistantly off, so they know the level changed for that parameter.

Then at one or two years, the majority go haywire.

I'm glad you love yours, but we don't recommend WGs. :)

What I realized with the Waterguru was that my testing chemicals were old. Once they were all fresh they more closely matched the WaterGuru S2 C5 cart results. It wasn't exact but extremely close. The daily measurements have truly helped me keep better water chemistry. Once every two weeks I do manual test and make sure my chemicals are not old. From now on I start fresh every year spring. All in all I'd say I have better water chemistry with the Water Guru than without it. It isn't exact but as it turns out neither was I. I don't think I'd live without the WaterGuru and look forward to their product updates.

BTW I would never buy the WG chemicals I still follow the BBB or TFP method.
