Replacing the sand in my Waterco SM600 sand filter and the water stopped draining.
I removed the cap and drained the water, but noticed it was draining slower than usual (like when I drain it for the winter).
By the time I got all the sand out, and gave it a rinse, the water was down to a trickle.
Add: I ran a length of string trimmer line inside, nothing. Used the garden hose and forced water into the exit. This increased the outflow to almost normal, then it stopped.
Before I go and try and fix this myself, and mess something up, has anyone encountered this? Solution?
