Hey all. Quick question but a little background first...

Getting the pool ready for swim season and had to SLAM the pool due to my SWG dying. New one is in and had it set to run 12 hours a day at 100% (app suggested 13 hours a day). Anyhow, just checked chems and here are the numbers:

FC: 17.5 (!!!!!!)
pH: 7.9
TA: 120
CH: 375
CYA: 60

So my question is, is it safe to get in with FC at 17.5? SLAM level shows to be 24. My gut says nopers, keep the kids out but I thought I remembered someone saying anything under shock level is safe. 17.5 definitely bleached out the TA test (was blue to yellow instead of green to pink/red). Anyhow, any advice is appreciated.

It is safe to swim in FC up to the SLAM FC level.

So yes, FC of 17.5 is safe to swim with CYa 60.
