Is it possible to drain hot tub water into the lawn? It would be salt water, which I know plants do not like, but I'm thinking its such a low amount that I won't matter? Anyone have expierience? Second, does any one use a blanket under their hot tub cover? You know, the blue ones with all the air pockets. Is it needed? Thanks for all the info here, my tub has been ordered and have been doing my best to get as educated as I can so I am ready once it gets here.

We backflush and lower water for the winter from our salt water pool into our bluegrass / fescue yard with no issues.
