Evaporation is an effect of two environmental elements.
1. Low humidity will increase evaporation
2. Temetature differential with water warmer than air, will increase evaporation
As stated above a solar blanket, or thermal blanket will drastically reduce your evaporation. Just make sure to remove the cover for a few hours a day to allow gassing off of the combined chlorine.
