WATER LEVEL / POOL CLOSING QUESTION

Hello....I was told my pool company was coming to close my pool today and that I should lower the water level below the skimmer line. So I did that yesterday. I turned off the skimmer valve and then today I just kept the pump off since I assumed they would be here but they never came. I am thinking it is going to be tomorrow but I am still waiting to hear back.

My question is should I turn the pump back on? Since I turned the the skimmer valve off because the water is just below that mark, would that be fine?

With main drains (*assuming) and a low equipment pad, you can pull from the drains for as long as you need with no skimming.
