Thanks RIchard and Donldson.
So after reading Richard's advice I measured my FC Level, it was 8.0 at around 10:00 am. So I added 121 oz Clorox bleach 8.2% and turned my filter on to circulate the Chlorine. Measured about 3 hours later at around 1:00 pm and FC 11.2.
At around 10 pm I remeasured everything
FC 8.6 forgot to measure CC

pH 7.8
TA 80
CH 250
CYA 120 (did 50/50 tap water and pool water)
So I lost about 2.6 ppm of Chlorine which is in line with the average from what I have read in the forums that between 2-3 ppm of Chlorine loss/day is normal.
I added another 121 oz of Clorox at 10:45 pm, turned the pump on to cirulate the water.
at 12:45 am Measured FC at 11.8.
Will measure in the morning to see if I pass ONCLT and then I guess if it fails I will SLAM the pool. Thought I would try this first before Slamming as my CYA levels are so high I would need to maintain my FC at 39, that's alot of Chlorine...
During the day and went and bought some HASA 12.5% Chlorine at a Pool Supply store $18.99 for 4 Gallons. I was using Clorox I bought from Costco but the way I'm going through it hate throwing away all the plastic gallon bottles away. I bought (2) boxes 3 bottle 121 oz for $9.99.
During the week I was adding a bottle every 2 days to keep my FC levels up around 8. So already used 4 bottles, thinking if I use higher % Chlorine I wouldn't have to put so much in. But haven't really calculated the cost ratio of which is better. Clorox or Hasa. Need to re-read that post on how to calculate %chlorine/$.
Thanks, will let you guys know if I pass ONCLT tomorrow.
