So my waterfalls are leaking water out of the pool every day.

I tried putting some water stop cement in there but it only worked a little bit. I plan on putting some water stop on the back side of the blocks to prevent it from going that way, but it seems to just run to the edge and then drip down.

any suggestions on how to prevent this?

You have to identify the source of how the water is getting into the wall. otherwise the water will keep on flowing to where it can get out.

You sure there is not a leak in the plumbing to the shears?

Yeah, first thing I checked when I saw water running out the back of the wall. It’s running down the face of the wall, and because of the way the wall is constructed the water just flows out. Some goes back into the pool, some doesn’t. Adding the water stop helped a bit. I’m thinking of adding some more. Just don’t want it to ruin the look of the wall.

You think the source of the water is from the sheer flow where some is dribbling onto the face of the wall instead of arcing into the pool?

Yes. It is. I can see it. Some of the loss is evaporation, but some is from the water run off at the wall. And some is my kids splashing.

What manufacturer and model sheers are they?

Have you tried cleaning the slot to remove any dirt that may be disrupting the flow?

CMP. Link in sig.
They were cleaned but I may try to find a small file to clean up any manufacturing mistakes.
