Water cloudy

Sometimes while the heater is running the water is cloudy coming from the returns. It seems like it happens more often when I turn the heater on. This is a newer thing and two things have changed.

1. 25ft flow sensor vs original 16ft
2. Cooler temperatures outside as I run this pool year round in Michigan

Any ideas?

You may be seeing hydrogen gas when your SWG is generating.

Could be, if I speed up pump it clears it quickly. Once clear water clears up fast.

At normal pump speed, what happens if you turn off SWCG?

Yes, it is normal.

You are seeing the hydrogen or calcium from the cell separating salt and water into its individual molecules to release the chlorine.
