Do I need this stuff to close my pool? (I bet I can guess the answer). See pictures.

Yes, use Polyquat 60.

Yup , my winter is not as long as yours so I don’t even add polyquat 60. My pool is closed from about Halloween to the end of March/beginning of April. I make sure ph & ta are good, log all my test results, raise to slam level for my cya & deploy the cover. I always have plenty of fc when I open. Close after the water is 60 degrees & open before it gets above 60 degrees.
