Washing machine pump same as pool pump?

I have never found a clean out between the house and the septic tank ... I would hope there is one somewhere ... guess I will look a little harder. I did find what looks like a cleanout pipe, but it is 30 feet on the other side of the tank from the house and oddly not in the direction of where I thought the leach field is.

This house will be a nightmare if any of the main pipes collapse

I have had the same problem with my washing machine. There is a product called Main Line Cleaner that comes in a gallon jug. I have found it at Home Depot and Walmart. It sells for about $15 and I have never found a slow drain it would not fix. My advice would be to try it before you waste a lot of time and money.

Pour the whole gallon down the washing machine drain stand pipe and wait at least 8 hours. Longer is better. Do not run water that might dilute it while it is working. Hopefully you will be good to go.

I found at least 3 different products with that same name, so gave up. Probably just going to have someone out to check the pipes.
