Hi! Our chlorine pool was set up to run 24/7. Reading up, I’m wondering if that is necessary. I also wanted to ask about changing the pool to spa mode periodically- if that is needed. We only switch it over to spa mode when we use the hot tub which now in Houston isn’t often. We do see some algae come out when we turn on the attached spas blowers time to time. It got me thinking if I should be running it in spa more daily to fresh/chlorinated water pushed thru that part of the plumbing because I am assuming the water that sits there doesn’t stay chlorinated long. The spa does has constant spill over action while the pump is on. Just no fresh water going through most of the returns. Attached are our run times.
