Vinyl Patching?

Hi everyone,
I'm still SLAMing my pool, and noticed water dropping this week. Found a hole at the corner of the stairs. It's in a really awkward spot. pic to follow. Looking for suggestions of best patching method and what materials to use. Thanks

From the 2nd youtube video, the patch was placed under the tracks. Any risk if I was to do that? my hole is smaller, but I'm worry any movement of the tracks may cause other leaks and holes in the liner. Appreciate advice from anyone with experience. Thanks

Hi, I have a hole at the corner of the tracks that hold the liner against the steps (may be the wrong terminology). Hole isn't big, but unsure how high it extends. I am hesitant to remove the tracks to patch it, but at the same time, don't think a patch would work otherwise. If I was to remove the tracks to slip a patch underneath it, would the liner shift? And would that create more screw holes? Thanks
