Living in AZ the water has a lot of calcium and mineral deposits. Its very hard water here. The issue is concentration over time as the water evaporates the deposits concentrate and its a a real battle. I would like to filter out those hard deposits in a way that's both economical AND fast so I can fill my pool back up. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Nochain

Yes. I have one just for the pool. Others tie into their whole house water softener.

Still more economic to drain every other year or so, so you have to consider that.

Yes also the fill rate will be drastically impacted by the rate at which the water softener can do its thing.....they need recovery time from what I understand.

Yes. But you should not fill the pool from the start with the softened water. You use non softened water to fill the pool, then use soft water for make up due to evaporation.
