Variable Speed Pump

New pool owner.. Looking at replacing my current pump (which keeps going out), with a Variable Speed Pump. Looking at the attached pics of my current Sta Rite Pump, any suggestions on what would be efficient and compatible to replace with? Thanks for the suggestions

I think the Pentair IntelliPro VS pump is a drop in replacement for the Sta-Rite pump.
