Variable Speed pump for smaller AGP

OK - I am biting the bullet. On low speed, my current pump pushes just a tad UNDER the flow needed to run the SWG. High speed is great for vacuuming, but far too much for anything other than short periods of time.

So I'm researching variable speed. I want to be able to set it and ignore it. What brands and models are being recommended at this point? I won't say price is irrelevant, but reliability is more important to me.

How is your equipment pad set up? Do you have 220V power at the pad?

No, power is a regular outlet.

That will greatly limit your choices.
Look at Pentair and Hayward, they have VS pumps with 115V. Not many others.
