Hello all I am opening my pool today. I will brush the sides of the pool and fill the pool- etc. But when I vacuum using the old manual method- pole and vacuum head- I was told to keep the multivalve on the filter so I will not lose water. Then after vacuuming is complete- I should backwash the filter on waste till see the sight glass clear then recirculate it for 1 minute then turn it off and be done- is this correct?
