Vacuum to waste

Hello everyone! New pool owner here and I need some help vacuuming to waste. The multivalve does not have labels for the settings and I have no idea how to vacuum to waste. Help please!

You have a push/pull valve and not a MPV.. You can't vacuum to waste.

That valve will only allow you to filter or backwash your filter.

Thank you Jim. What would the best option be for vacuuming the algae? Pool is green

We recommend a SLAM..



Basically you vacuum to your filter, which will quickly clog.. then you backwash and add DE and you do that over and over and over.

You should check out our Pool School and learn how to maintain your pool so that you will never get algae again.
