I’ve read several threads about the above topic but had a quick question and thoughts on an issue I deal with. Will be leaving for a short vacation, 5 days. TA of fill water is 120. Constantly dealing with rising pH but manageable. Usually leave SWG on during vacation without issues except pH climb. I manage when I get back. I have some old trichlor from before my TFP conversion. Given my pH rise, I was thinking about turning off my SWG or turning it down and adding a few trichlor pucks to a floater. Should I just let the pool ride like normal and just expect pH climb when I get back or should I use a few pucks and manage pH and sanitation that way for my short vacation?

Ph won't matter for 5 days, especially since it will take several of those days to rise and be high.
