Use solar salt to increase calcium hardness?

Hi, I measured my CH at 250 and trying to get it up to 300. Chlorine pool, 10,000 gallons.
Can I use solar salt to increase CH? If so do I use the pool calculator's same amounts as listed for calcium chloride?

Solar salt will have no effect on CH.

You need to add calcium chloride.

Thanks for your help! I guess I can throw this stuff away...of no use with a chorine pool, living in texas!

Put it in the pool. Elevated salt levels in the water make it much more comfortable to swim in.
