I have a 10inch sand filter intex pump.
My pressures are good and everything working.
But pump started to be louder this morning. I cleaned everything not bad but still have noise.
Suspect bearing based on research and sound clips.
This is my 3rd season on this pump.
When i bought it was $120 now $350.
This is the last season i will use our small summer waves pool. 14x42 circle. 3000 gallons
Upgradeing to a perminant above ground pool next year.
If i buy a pump id like for it to work for my current pool and be a back up for new pool next year. At most 24x54 12000 gallons
I found one on amazon that is 1.5 hp and 4000 gph flow. Standard 1.5 to 2 pipe size. I know i will need to adapt to intex thread pipe.
Will a pump like this be to powerful for little 10 inch sand filter part?
If not this any recommendations?
Budget stay close to $200.
Thank you
