Update - Water In - Final pieces remain South Jersey Build

It helps too, to know how much chlorine gas your cell produces hourly or in 24 hrs. Then you can estimate pump run time easier based on daily consumption.

How do I find this out, I can't get any information on our SWG online at all, and I've asked for some kind of manual and they keep promising but still nothing...

How have you been testing for salt up till now? Perhaps the testing is lacking accuracy?

The salt test was completely wrong. I got strips now from the PB:(

Water is clearing up

Hi Karynkjd, I saw on another thread (where you were admiring the table in the pool) that you were surprised that your family uses exactly the opposite areas of the pool than you had anticipated. We are thinking of building a pool a similar shape as yours and I was wondering if you could elaborate?

I actually considered not doing a deep end or a way to dive and every family member is in the deep end most of the time. I wanted all low end for basketball and volleyball - we play bball from both ends and haven't set up volley yet but we dive ALL the time, play games in deep end and we are always on our last minute added deep end bench.

Thanks, that helps a lot! We want a deep end for the reasons you mentioned, but with so many people going with sport pools nowadays, we were wondering if we were missing something and would regret putting one in. I'm glad it's working out for you. We'd like a setup for volleyball too, but think it might get more use when the kids are in their teens and having their friends over. Better to plan for it now though.

Thanks again for your insight. It reaffirmed me in our pool goals. :)

++1 on the deep end. And even more so on the deep end benches. Those are where our three-pointers are shot from!
Pool looks awesome!

I'm still trying to nail a 3 pointer! Lol but completely agree with all. I am so happy we went with this pool design - I was able to get everything I wanted at the same time. We love it.

The one change I would make is the vinyl. I went with vinyl because I wasn't a huge fan of the feeling on my feet once the pool is a little older and its a lot more work and maintenance when I tend to travel and was worried i wouldn't stay on it. Had I known that my dog wouldn't be able to swim (my fault the PB said dogs could be in vinyl and I didn't bother to second guess what now seems obvious) I would have gone with gunite for sure!

You have such a fabulous area!!! Your pool is still one of my favorites - have always loved the elegance of it. And your furniture is awesome. You have so much space for it all. My favorite is the cabana sectional or whatever you call it. It must be heaven to relax on. Can you leave it out all summer? I see it being a mildew trap here for me. Thank goodness it's not a question for me since I don't have the space.

I love EVERYTHING about your pool and yard! Thanks for all the pictures....
Suz.
