Unrecognized Spots

Hello. Thanks for your help. I noticed over night three light brown to orange spots that have appeared at 3 different places in the pool that will not brush off. The water is well balanced and clear. I'm not sure if it could be algae or metal stains. The plaster is about 8 years old now and have noticed issues with discoloration, but they look different than these spots. If anyone has an idea what it could be, I would appreciate it. I have attached photos of the 3 spots some using a regular lends and some using a zoom lens. Thanks again.

If they might be rust, try rubbing vitamin c tablet on the area to see if it clears up.

If it might be something organic like some type of algae or plant stuff try rubbing a Trichlor puck on it to see if that helps relieve the stain.

These are usually the first steps in learning what might be happening. You can also wait and observe to see what happens to the spots if none of the above lead to a cause. I’m having a similar issue with a black spot that I’m now watching.
