Sorry if this is a long post. I have these dark rings around what apper to be rough spots in my plaster. I also have what look like runs down the side of my pool in multiple areas. They seem to be a rust color but not for sure. I tried scrubbing them with a chlorine tab and a vitamin c tab. Niether changed there appearance. I post two picture one is of the rings and the other is a poor shot of what look like runs. Hopefully you can see them. My current readings are as follows
FC 10.5
TC 10.82
PH 7.7
TA 84
CH 495
CYA 50
Iron .1
Copper .3
Phosphates 628
TDS 5000
I am at a loss. I dont want to try and rectify my problem without having an idea of what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I only use liquid chlorine, baking soda and muriatic acid. I have cartridge filters and am in Arizona so water temp is around 90 degrees.

What test kit do you use?

How old is your plaster?

Please highlight the areas in your pictures with the spots and streaks you are concerned about.

Those look like pool store test readings. You can't trust them. You need to get either a Taylor K2006 or a TFTestKits TF100 or TF100Pro as those will give your proper consistent readings from test to test.

I use the Taylor test kit regularly, but wanted phosphates and metal readings so i went to the pool store this time. I will see if i can highlight the photos.
