So things are starting to progress a little bit this spring.
The frost literally just came out so the ground is totally saturated, so no machinery in the yard yet.
However I had to get my bar area complete before the pool goes in because the stone has to be laid down before concrete decking...
So here are a few pictures of the project mock up I did last fall on what I wanted it to look like. Then a few after I demo'd part of the wall. Finally what the bar looks like before granite. Granite is being measured for on wednesday.
Wall after I took out about 3/4 of it with a sledgehammer.
Bar completed, before the granite gets added.
I also finished about 40 ft of drainage tile to pull water from my house, and my new deck downspout...
Wednesday starts a new project (kind of threw it in last minute). Which is reconfiguring an old retaining wall near my front garage from a wall to a staircase leading down to the back yard.. So we/guests dont have to walk through the neighbors yard to get down to the pool.
So things are moving along... Im documenting the entire process, start to finish because I want to see how close I can come to my renderings from the landscaping software I used last year.
One final timelapse of the bar being created.
