Hi everyone. We have found a leak in our above ground Funsicle 16ft round pool. The leak is coming from a hole/tear in the seam between the reinforced vinyl surrounding the drain plug and the pool wall vinyl. We have a well in a rural area so we are trying to avoid draining the pool if possible since it's $500 to fill it. We've tried pool patches & flex seal tape on the inside as well as flex seal paste the outside but the leak returns after an hour or less. I was wondering if it would be worth it to try waterweld or even try to cover the whole drain section on the inside with a large vinyl patch. Does anyone have any suggestions or do you think I'm wasting my time and the pool is toast? Any suggestions are appreciated. You can see the current patch lifting on the picture below. The last picture is the mess I made trying to seal the outside with flexseal paste. I don't have any experience with any of this, as you can tell. Thanks for your time.
