Type of plaster to choose?

We are replastering the gunite pool and have a choice between a regular plaster or Diamond Brite. The regular plaster has a 2 year warranty and the Diamond Brite a 10 year warranty and the cost is $1650 more than the regular plaster. We haven't seen the Diamond Brite in person yet. We like plain white plaster because it's very white and it's very smooth. We're not sure if Diamond Brite would be as white or as smooth as regular plaster, but also, is the plaster stronger and is it a better choice?

I asked our builder about Diamond Brite and he said it’s a waste of money but we’ll do it if you want. I passed on it and just went with white standard plaster. Only 9 months old but looks good.
