TSP Alternative for filter soaking

Looking for a TSP alternative. I live up in Frisco (Dallas suburb), where we are packed together.
So I dont have a way to dispose of it without it hurting my neighbors grass (I have turf, thinking of run off), or pouring it out in the street and leaving a clean run off clearly showing I dumped something in the street lol.

I found some articles talking about Simple Green, but those are scented.
Cascade Platinum? OxyClean? Anyone used these?

Why are you soaking them at all???

My original filters worked just fine for over 8 years and they never got 'soaked'.. Yes, they were not white, but the color is not what filters...

I replaced them only because I got antsy.. I could not tell any difference between the 8 year old filters, and the brand new ones...

Edit.. I saw in a different thread that you were replacing your cartridges every year... Do whatever you want, but that is insane..

Your cartridges should last 8 to 10 years, maybe longer.

Ya I just did not know any better.
I was looking at the filter cleaning guide and it talked about soaking them , that is where I got that
