Trying to remove calcium(?) dust from small pool

Since my pool is only 1,700 gallons to begin with, I'm looking for a method to remove what I'm guessing is calcium dust from the bottom of my pool without doing a vacuum to waste (since that removes a good portion of my pool water!) It's just a whitish dust that disperses immediately when I brush. There is barely any there, and the water is otherwise crystal clear. CYA at 45. I went through a period of removing high phosphates with a phosphate remover that has a clarifier in it, and have also done the SLAM to get it clear. Is there a small ($150 max) pool vacuum that can clean that up without vacuum to waste? Thanks.

The experts are about to chime in, ask that you post a full set of test results. I’m beating them to the punch.
