Trying to make sense of Jandy Aqua Pure SWG instructions

I am learning about my equipment and trying to make sense of some recommendations in the operation manual for my Jandy Aqua Pure SWG.

1. They say that the chlorine stabilizer should be maintained between 50-57 PPM. With high water temperatures above 30C, stabilizer must be kept at levels from 75 to 85 PPM.
2. The AquaPure is warranted to operate properly only if free chlorine is kept between 1.0 - 3.0 PPM. Continuous exposure to levels above 3.0 PPM may cause corrosion of pool metals.
Aren't these two contradict each other? With recommended CYA levels, chlorine would need to be higher than 3 PPM. Is this real that continuous exposure to levels above 3.0 PPM may cause corrosion of pool metals?

3. Don't list contains a rule to not add chemicals or salt to the pool unless the chlorinator is turned off.
Does that mean that I cannot balance my water during normal hours of my pump operation while the SWG is on? Does that mean that I can add MA only when running my pump in service mode with 0% chlorine generation out of the scheduled hours of normal operation at 30%?
Can I add 20 baume MA without running my pump but mixing MA via brushing? My pool is tiny, spa is 900 gal, and the pool itself is 1,800 gal of water. When I pour acid, it drips to the floor pretty fast.

Until you learn your pool, keep CYA at 60. After a few weeks and you are maintaining FC, then raise to 70-80.

Maintain your FC based on your CYA. Always follow this...Link-->FC/CYA Levels
Keep FC at the top of the range for your CYA.
You can add any chemicals to the pool with the SWCG on, EXCEPT salt. When you add salt, turn the chlorinator off for 12-24hours and use liquid chlorine to keep FC up. High salinity through the cell can cause damage.

Balance your water during normal hours with pump running. Add MA with the pump running, pour slowly in front of a return and brush.
