Trying to get my pool clear. Using SLAM method to the best of my ability lol.

The ph test is inaccurate at fc levels above 10ppm- that’s why u adjusted it before beginning the SLAM Process
For now just test fc & cc. The other things can be dealt with after the slam is complete.
Do your best to Maintain 16ppm as often as possible. SLAM stands for Shock Level And Maintain.

Raise to SLAM before work and Raise to SLAM after work. Test/add twice before bed. Going above target is mostly a waste as SLAM level was optimized for its efficiency. People overshoot by a few FC all the time by accident, but it burns off quickly and doesn't do much to help.

We all have a life that makes us do life things sometimes during the SLAM. Do the best you can. On the weekend, it's easier to manage. You can dose early, right before having something to do to buy you the next couple hours away.

Don't forget to brush and vac.

QUESTION! Been slamming for a week now was getting small algae patches in the corners. Water is clear but is clear from daylight perspective or nighttime with the light on? It looks really good. CC is 0 and FC is 13.8 at 9:50pm EST. Doing an ONCLT hopefully more that 12.8 at just before sunrise.

Clear is TFP clear. You've been with us long enough to know what that looks like. ;)

(It's also nothing poofing anywhere when you brush, be it dead or alive).

And it's miserable for all of us this time of year that we all have some sort of pollen in there that looks like algae. So trust the OCLT.

Just tested at 4am and it 13.4. So from 9:50pm 13.8 to 4:00am 13.4 sunrise 6:24. Should be good dropped .4 in 6 hrs and only 2:24 hrs till sunrise. Also yes the pollen is horrendous here in South GA. Using skimmer socks and I have to clean them everyday. I think it's good though to co e out of slam. I'll let yall know if algae returns. Thanks

I use that method all the uptime except when ending slam I use .2 for accuracy. Thanks
Ok GREAT. Just making sure because so many don't know. To each their own and whatnot, but if I can't pass ending SLAM at .5 resolution, passing it at .2 resolution gives me no peace of mind because the borderline pass from the closer resolution is still to close to failing for my liking.

I want to graduate SLAM at the top of my class, not 'Cs get degrees'. :ROFLMAO:
