Hey everyone,

Recently swapped out a failing pump for a new variable speed pump. Long story short the pvc union nut on the pump between the pump and the filter failed due to all the extra jostling. It had been cracked and was leaking for awhile... this was not a shock.

The pipe itself is that flexy PVC pipe (1 1/2), so I decided to redo it with rigid PVC, and I've ordered new Hi-temp unions for the pump which has 2 inch outlets, however I'm realizing now that I don't think I'll have an appropriate fitting for the connection on the filter. The filter is an older Jacuzzi ST-24 that has 1 1/2 inputs. Does anyone know what I should get? I recall that Jacuzzi went out of business. Or perhaps I just use the fitting that was already working connected to the flex hose and do a repair joint between some rigid pvc and the flex hose? I really need to get this running so I can get my pool circulating and open. Its looks TERRIBLE right now.
