Try to fix my dad's Hayward earth filter, any advice would be great

I need a new housing for it but I'm having a hard time locating it. The model number on the pump is sp1510z1xesc. I also have a small drip from top of filter. I tried to tighten but it's still leaking. Is there on o ring or other gasket I should look to replace. Lastly, what's a good online pool place to deal with?Thanks, Jay

A place we like working with is INYOpools.com. If you call them they've got a great record for finding those hard to find parts. And they should have the right spider gasket /O ring for your filter.

We need a little more info in order to help you find what you need.

Can you post pictures of the parts you need?
Do you need a new casing for the pump?

Can you give us the model number of the filter?
Is it a sand filter or a DE filter?

On the discharge port of the pump is a Black and Silver label with the serial number and model number. The number you gave us is the motor number.

I see that tag and it's completely worn off. I guess it's time for a new pump.

I ordered a new pump from Amazon, 1 horse power that converts from vertical to horizontal for $216. I also order the gasket for the top of the filter for about $40
