Hello all! I would like to have my Betta skimmer cleaner and my Polaris 280 be in the pool at the same time but the Betta is getting caught in the Polaris hose. I am looking for something to weigh the Polaris hose down just a bit so its right under the surface. Would anyone have any creative ideas? I saw some pool float weights on Amazon but they did not fit the hose... Thank you!

Several of us have been down that path. From multiple threads I have read on TFP, no one has found a suitable way to run a surface skimmer with a Polaris pressure side cleaner. Not to say there is not a solution, however the floats on the hose of the 280 are there to help the cleaner keep upright and allow the clearer to move easier. Weights can add friction which can slow the cleaner.
Again not saying it’s impossible but I have not seen a solution in my research.
Many of us have ditched the Polaris 280 and put in a Aiper Scuba or Beatbot bottom/wall robot cleaner and have the Betta skimmer on top.
