Question. After 14 years of trichlor I’m thinking about switching to liquid chlorine as my sanitizer. I have attempted a couple of trial runs with 10% sodium hypochlorite and it seems to dissipate way too fast. Can you let me in on your process? Does this method normally require multiple daily treatments?
Thanks in advance

All your numbers look good.

You need to maintain an FC in range for your CYA. Your CYA is 50, always round up to next 10. Get your Target FC range here: Link-->FC/CYA Levels

You want to be in range when you test. If that means dosing ABOVE range so you are in range when you test, then dose above range. This way you don't need multiple treatments in a day.

If you follow this ^^, then you will avoid algae.

We are in the largest FC demand days in June with the sun high in the sky. Your FC usage will be the highest now., and it is not unreasonable, in your area, to lose 3-5FC daily. Being in the south, I would raise your CYA to 60 (add 10ppm). This will help with Chlorine demand and usage.
