Hi TFPers,
I'll admit, I do have pucks. But, the only time they are used is on vaca. And, this is even w/ neighbor stopping by. It is easier to have them in for the short duration we are gone vs. expecting that my neighbor should come over daily to add pour in some chlorine. I don't have a SWG and just use chlorine. Anyhow, after my digression, let me get to my ? I was keeping my container of pucks in the garage, but w/ the heat, the odor is sometimes strong when we enter the garage. For the health of my kids, I recently put them outside. How do trichlor puck containers have to be stored? Can they be kept at the side of my house which exposes them to heat and some limited direct sunlight? Does that degrade them? I keep my acid out there, just figured it needs some company.
