Travertine Sealer

After just 5 years we are replacing our Texas Leuderstone on our saltwater pool with 5cm travertine coping. Between the big Texas freeze a couple years ago, other weather and the saltwater, the limestone and some of our stacked stone had deteriorated significantly.

My question is does anyone have good experience with a sealer to use on the new Travertine? If so what did you use? Want to do all we can to help protect it from similar erosion.

I have not done it but have seen many people who did. If you do seal be ready to redo it yearly or as needed.

Rinsing off the area around the pool will help with the salt collection from splash out and such.

Hey neighbor, I'm in a different circumstance but will be installing new travertine coping and adding SWG to my setup. From prior searches, I've narrowed down to Stonetech BulletProof sealer or Dry-Treat 40SK. I have a few weeks before I need to make a decision but check those out.

What did you go with ?

I’m going with the Stonetech Saltwater Resistant sealer. Hopefully coping installation will be done within the next week.
