Travertine and bleach?

Wondering if anyone here has any long-term experience with a travertine deck and using bleach to control green algae?

It's common advice to avoid putting bleach on travertine but the same advice exists for saltwater pools. I have a few pavers that are more susceptible to turning green then the others are, and I'm tempted to just get a spray bottle with bleach and spot treat them. I think the worst case is I'd need to replace those pavers, but I'd probably want to do that anyhow if they're constantly green. Getting out the pressure cleaner every couple months is kindof a pain.

This is the info we received recently with our travertine pavers. I’m guessing they don’t want you to use hydrochloric acid [emoji23] You could maybe try a test area with some diluted bleach.
