Trapped Polaris

We have a Polaris with booster pump which works fine except it keeps trying to get behind barstools where it gets stuck. Has anyone come up with a solution to block off certain areas to prevent this. Some have suggested there is a Polaris “bumper“ that is available to prevent it from going into small places I have been unable to find one or a solution anywhere. I need some tried and true answers. Thank you

Maybe build PVC "cages" around the bar stools. You could weight them down with sand then cap them off. I am thinking squares around each one or one long rectangle depending on how they are set up. This is not tried and true but what popped in my head when I read this. Good luck!
