TPFC, Algae, and other settings (long post warning!)

Searching the net a bit and just wondering what is the shelf life of these kits? If I order two Taylor K-2006C kits, can I store one of them for a year or two?

Taylor officially says that reagents last one year, but if you store them in a cool, dry, dark place then you should be able to have them last for two years. Only some reagents are more sensitive and do not last as long -- generally they are the indicator dyes (both liquid and DPD powder) and the FAS-DPD titrating reagent. Everything else should last for many years without degradation.
