We just purchased our first pool, It’s an 18 foot round above ground 52” deep. We are planning on filling it this weekend. Anyone with any advice of how to start up the chemicals and what to use when we start up would be a great help.
We have a sand filter. I’ve read that you don’t need to run the filter 24/7 you only need to run between four and six hours a day.
I’ve also read that you don’t exactly need all the chemicals that the Internet searches tell you. A lot of of what I have read is that people only use chlorine and shock? Anyway, I’m quite confused on this and don’t even know where to begin. I’m looking forward to any help and insight anyone can provide.
