Here are the last 4 days of water balancing / testing (strips):
[6.25]
*Chlorinator boosted 36hrs
*Water clear
*Yellow algae on shady sides of liner
Calcium Hardness = 100-150
Free Chlorine = 0
Total Chlorine = 0
Bromine = 0
Total Alkalinity = 180+
Ph = 7.6-7.8
Cyanuric Acid = 30-50
[6.26]
*Chlorinator boosted 36hrs
*Water clear
*Yellow algae is more brown
*Added 2lbs of cyanuric acid
CH = 150-200
FC = 0.5
TC = 1-2
Bro = 0.5
TA = 200-300
Ph = 7.6-7.8
CYA = 50-100
[6.27]
*Solar cover added
*17oz of Salt Water Magic added
*Water clear
*Very little algae
*scattered dark organic debris on liner floor - need to vacuum
CH = 100-150 (2 tests compared, Intex strips detected 0)
FC = 3 (Intex strips = 3)
TC = 2-3
Bro = 2
TA = 140 (Intex strips = 180)
Ph = 7.6 (Intex strips = 7.6-7.8)
CYA = 50-100
[6.28]
*Ordered Ph/TA decreaser (sodium bisulfate)
CH = 100-150
FC = 3
TC = 10 (Why so high overnight??)
Bro = 3
TA = 120
Ph = 7.8-8
CYA = 50-100
Please don't shame me for using strips, I currently cannot afford the professional chemical kits and I would just like some tips based of the numbers shown above
I plan on adding Ph/Alk. decreaser as soon as it arrives in the mail, would this be the only addition required as of now?? Or would you guys recommend anything else?
Thanks in advance!
