They should dissipate with proper chlorination. I would raise the FC to 20 or 30% of CYA and see if that helps knock them down.

I do not have a spa so not sure on exact numbers.
Your UV/Ozone eliminate your FC each time. Not a big deal, just be sure to add chlorine before you use the spa.

What are you using in your hot tub? chemicals, additives, etc.

Doing the dichor bleach method. Using pool Chlorine. I did use some of this a while back. 1 Quart Of Water Trends Spa Metal Control

OK, I just wanted to make sure you weren't adding anything with surfactants in it. I use AquaClarity, which works great, but when using that I have to bump my CH up or else I get foaming just as you described.

With CH at 300, I don’t think that’s an issue.

Mine does this (and a little more) after I add my weekly dose of AquaClarity. Does it for about a day. Sorta like a mini purge foam.

Your picture is not that bad to me but I’ll put money on residual detergent in suits. It has happened to me twice in the past year and both times it was Tides fault. Run it a bunch with air on. Wait about 3 days.

okay.. I am doing a SLAM today just to help bring it down and then will see what happens.

You do know to get to 12 for the slam with a CYA of 30. I always shoot for higher because my liquid chlorine has weakened. I’ll do a CL about 30 minutes after adding to verify my actual SLAM level.
