I upped the SWG to 100% put the correct muriatic acid in for the pH
i’m still confused with the alkalinity and hardness can anybody tell me if it’s OK I had to buy cya, so I had my husband havethe pool store test to see if it matched my Taylor K 2006. it was really close to my readings.
To me everything is fine with helping the SWG for a few hours and adding the acid.
They want me to add alkalinity
do I need to add a alkalinty?

Your hardness and alkalinity are fine. You don't need to do anything to those. We only adjust alkalinity to stabilize wide swings in pH. If you have a slow rise in pH then you can adjust pH as needed.
