The plaster guys are here right now prepping for plaster.
I talked to them and the PB and was told the startup wouldn't be until Monday and to not brush the pool until then.
This goes against everything I have been reading about for plaster day.
I know every company has their own warranty but I am concerned this is completely wrong.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

You mean they are going to plaster, fill, and leave? Mine was done the same way. The builder came out the next week and turned on the pump and threw some pucks in the skimmers.

I would ask them why wait to brush the pool. Brushing does not affect the water balance in any way.
I would also tell them that everyone in the industry (including the National Plasterers Council) suggests brushing on the first day once it is filled with water.
At the end, I would brush the pool and not tell them. They won't know the difference.
Brushing is always beneficial to prevent plaster dust from hardening and sticking to the plaster finish.
Of course the pool may be not filled until Money anyway, so perhaps this won't be an issue after all.
