My CSI looks good but CH is high as is salt. I do have to add a gallon on MA a week to drive pH down and keep CSI slightly negative to zero.

My fill water has a CH of 240 but if I use water from the softener it is 0.

What’s your test results and how low are you trying to drive the pH?

Edit: I see the logs. Your TA should get down to 60ppm pretty quick if you’re using a gallon of acid every week. Once it gets there the pH rise should slow a lot. If you only drive the pH down to 7.8, it’ll also rise a lot slower.

Totally up to you on draining to reduce CH and salt. It’s not that high and draining a bit before a storm may get you enough water replacement over winter.
