I purchased a home with an inground pool & it has a Titan Ti2 pool heater. The unit is an older model that does not have a display, just a black dial that goes from 0-10. It was running fine all summer, up until a couple of days ago, and now the unit will turn on, but the fan will not run. If I kick start the fan by spinning with my hand, it will run and heat the water, but once it reaches the desired temp, fan shuts off and fan can't start on its own again, so no heat. I checked the fan run capacitor and it is swollen and no power left in it when I touch the 2 electrical heads with a screw driver. Unfortunately, the label is worn off the old capacitor so I do not know what size capacitor to replace it with. I understand that if I do not replace with the correct one, it could damage my heater. There is nothing in the owner manual to indicate what size capacitor and I cannot find anything online through Titan or otherwise. It is a round metal capacitor with 2 electrical heads. Does any one know what I should replace this with? It is a fairly cheap part and easy to replace myself, so I refuse to call an HVAC tech and pay hundreds of dollars for such an easy fix. Your feedback is appreciated! Thanks!!

Is there a data plate on the fan motor? Post a picture of the data plate on the fan motor...

Also post a picture of the fan motor.

It is likely a 7.5/370.
