I'm about to wire up a timer for my pump. My question is since my saltwater generator has the flow sensor, do I need to add that to the timer also or just to the pump? Thanks!
How do feel about riding around with your car's air bags off... Works just fine unless there is an accident...
Salt cells are all supposed to have two safety features... The Primary one is that the cell should never get power if the pump is off... and the Secondary one is the flow switch.
Cell explosions are rare, but they do happen... I vote to connect the SWCG control box to the timer.
Power Supply Box - The power supply converts AC electrical current to a low voltage DC current
which is required by the cell to perform the electrolysis. The power supply is connected with the pool
circulation pump electrical source so that the electrolytic cell only operates when the pool pump is on.
The flow Sensor is a backup device only.
